The Belle Community Betterment Association had the honor of hosting a ribbon cutting for Glorify Salon in downtown Belle as part of their grand opening celebration on Friday, May 15, 2026.
Formerly known as Southern Roots, the salon is now under the ownership of Shelby Ridenhour and her husband, Dalton, who officially purchased the business on March 19, 2026. The newly rebranded salon represents a fresh chapter while continuing to provide the same familiar service and welcoming atmosphere clients have come to know and love.

A Letter from Glorify Salon
On March 19th our beloved Southern Roots Family styling salon manager, coworker, and friend, Shelby Ridenhour and her husband Dalton, got the opportunity to buy Southern Roots! With this blessing she decided to make it truly her own. So, we are presenting to you today, Glorify Salon!
These past few months you might have noticed a lot of changes happening here at Glorify. We are excited about these fresh and exciting things but, we are here to remind you that Shelby, Robbi, Kaitlyn, and Madi, will continue to provide the same great service and promise to keep growing their knowledge to be the best stylists they can be, for you. They are determined to continue to be a family supporting each other.
A question many have asked and that you may be wondering is where did the name Glorify come from? The short answer is the Lord.
The long answer starts back a couple of years ago. Our stylist Madi had thought about opening a salon herself and started thinking and praying about what she could name it. It needed to be something that brought the good news of Christ to the forefront. Shelby felt that the timing just wasn’t quite right, and that was for a reason!
Fast forward a bit, a new salon didn’t end up happening, and we truly believe that was by God’s providence. Madi is now following God’s call in another direction, but blessing us in the salon when she is home from school. As soon as Shelby was presented with the opportunity to buy Southern Roots she immediately knew what she wanted to name it! When she asked if she could use Glorify for the name Madi was ecstatic! It is so special and such a blessing to see God make everything happen so perfectly!
It has been so amazing to see how God has worked through all of this to make it exactly what it should be. We are blessed to be a part of this salon story, because Glorify salon wants to do just that, Glorify. We want to glorify your beauty that you bring into us and we most importantly want to glorify the Lord.
That is exactly what Psalm 86:12 says, “I will praise you, Lord my God. With all my heart. I will glorify your name forever.”
We are so thankful for the Lord’s blessing to be on this journey and we are so thankful for each and every one of our clients and supporters who are always there for us. We are so proud of Shelby and Dalton for the ministry they are allowing God to create through them.
Our prayer for the salon and for every person that comes in is that this will be a place that you feel truly comfortable and beautiful. That each and every one of you knows that you are loved and cherished.
So it is with great honor that we present to you Glorify Salon!
