Get ready to be enchanted by the shimmering spectacle of our Christmas Parade on December 16th at 6:00 PM! This year’s theme, “Christmas Lights and Winter Nights,” promises to dazzle as it winds through the heart of the city, spreading holiday joy and cheer to all. Gather your family and friends to experience the magic of this beloved tradition.
The parade route will begin and end at 8th and Johnson.
Winners will get to donate winning funds to a non-profit organization/school organization of their choice.
Business Decorating Contest Information:
Contest Dates: December 3 – December 22
Location: Open to all businesses within the Maries R-II school district
Calling all businesses within the Maries R-II school district! Light up the holiday season and showcase your creativity with our Business Decorating Contest. Participating is absolutely free, and all you need to do is submit one picture of your beautifully adorned establishment to BCBA.
Voting for the contest will take place on Facebook, where each “like” equals one vote. Rally your customers, friends, and well-wishers to support your entry and spread the word about this festive event. The winner will not only gain recognition by being featured in the Maries County Advocate but also stand a chance to win exciting prizes.
The winner will be announced on December 23, making it a fantastic early Christmas present!
