The Belle Betterment Community Association had the honorary pleasure of hosting a ribbon cutting to welcome Myrtle Mae’s Beauty, LLC, on Saturday, September 28th, 2024.
Owner Natasha Weller was joined by her husband and family.
Myrtle Mae’s Beauty, LLC, began operating in the Belle Community in April of this year. It is located at 207 Alvarado Ave. The phone number is (573) 466-7734, and appointments are by appointment only. Mrs. Weller has been taking clients since October 2023, and she gained her storefront in April.
Myrtle Mae’s Beauty, LLC specializes in all things nails! Natasha offers acrylics, gel manicures, soft gel extensions, pedicures, hand-painted nail designs, and princess manis and pedis!
Myrtle Mae’s Beauty, LLC has a very special meaning for Weller, as it is named after her late grandmother. Natasha would take her grandmother to get pedicures and manicures. After she was placed in the nursing home, her grandmother was unable to get in the car to go get her nails done, so Natasha began doing them for her there. Her grandmother encouraged her to get her license so she could do nails for her and other ladies in the nursing home. Weller stated, “She is the reason I took my passions to a business.”
For years, they called each other by their chosen nicknames. Her grandmother Mary Ann called Natasha “Mabel,” and Natasha called her “Myrtle,” so Weller knew “Mʏʀᴛʟᴇ Mᴀᴇ’s Bᴇᴀᴜᴛʏ, LLC” was the perfect name choice! Her Myrtle always inspired her!
Myrtle Mae’s Beauty has been actively supporting our community, and we are thrilled to welcome it as a valuable addition to Belle.
