On Thursday, November 13, 2025, the Belle Community Betterment Association had the honor of hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for The Chocolate Dippery, a beloved local business with deep roots in our community.
Owner Ciara Kennell, a proud Belle High School alumna from the Class of 2011, first launched The Chocolate Dippery in 2021 out of her home kitchen. Since then, her creativity and craftsmanship have gained attention far beyond Belle. Her treats have been featured in magazines and newspapers around the world, and she has shipped orders to customers across multiple states.
While chocolate may be in the name, The Chocolate Dippery is known for so much more. Ciara creates:
- Stunning wedding cakes
- Custom birthday cakes
- Party treat packages
- Specialty cheesecakes
- Cake pops
- Crunch grapes
- And a wide variety of other unique sweets
Now, The Chocolate Dippery has a new home right in the heart of Belle at 409 Highway 28.
The business will celebrate its Grand Opening on Saturday, November 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The first 20 customers will receive a special gift and be entered into a drawing. Regular business hours will be Thursday–Saturday, 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., featuring daily specials and an always-delicious menu.
