The Belle Community Betterment Association (BCBA) proudly welcomed Belle River Retreat RV Park & Campground to the community with a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 14, 2025.
Located on County Road 703 in Belle, the campground has been a local favorite for more than a decade. Now, under new ownership, it’s undergoing exciting renovations designed to make it a go-to destination for campers, boaters, and outdoor enthusiasts across the region.
New owners Eric and Natalie Turcotte, along with their five children, purchased the property at the end of 2023. Since then, they’ve been hard at work revitalizing the site and bringing out its full potential.
“We’ve been making renovations to bring out the best in this beautiful spot on the Gasconade River,” said Eric. “It’s an amazing place. We’re lucky to have it.”
The Turcottes bring both passion and vision to Belle River Retreat. Eric, an avid outdoorsman, enjoys camping, hiking, trap shooting, canoeing, and ultra-marathon paddle racing, and he hopes to inspire others to embrace the same love of the outdoors through their family-friendly campground.
