The Belle Community Betterment Association (BCBA) had the honor of hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for O’Dell’s Barber Co., LLC on September 10, 2025, officially welcoming this new business to the Bland community.
Owner Justin O’Dell, a Maries County R-II High School Class of 2011 graduate, proudly returned home to open his own barbershop after serving five years in the United States Army, where he traveled the world and gained valuable experience and discipline that now inspire his business.
O’Dell officially opened the doors to his shop on September 1, 2025, and immediately made an impact—completing more than 20 haircuts during his first week in business. His services include short and long haircuts, shaves, and styling, offering something for everyone who walks through the door.
Located at 113 E. Colorado Avenue in Bland, Missouri, O’Dell’s Barber Co. is open:
- Mondays & Thursdays: 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Fridays: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Appointments or inquiries can be made by calling 573-569-3607.
In honor of September 11th, O’Dell offered free services to veterans, showing his continued commitment to serving those who served. The shop itself reflects that same pride—decorated with touches of Bland history and military heritage, creating a space that feels both local and patriotic.
“Justin’s passion for his craft and his love for this community make him a great addition to Bland,” said a BCBA representative. “We’re proud to celebrate his hard work and welcome him home.”
The Belle Community Betterment Association encourages everyone to stop by O’Dell’s Barber Co. to welcome Justin and experience his exceptional service firsthand. Whether you’re in need of a haircut, shave, or fresh style, you’ll find skill, pride, and small-town hospitality waiting inside.
