The Belle Community Betterment Association (BCBA) hosted its first Father/Daughter Dance on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Belle/Bland Community Center.
Over 100 girls from pre-k to high school enjoyed the “Winter Wonderland” festivities with their dads. The evening was offered to girls in the Maries County R-2 School District.
Laughter, door prizes, snacks, and music provided an unforgettable evening for everyone. From fast songs to slow songs, there wasn’t any room left on the dance floor.
Many dads took their daughters to formal dinners prior to the event, and some even rented limos for the special occasion.
Tooty Mae Woolley, a fun favorite for the kiddos, emceed the event, shaking things up on the dance floor and encouraging girls to sing along to the popular hit “Let it Go” from the movie Frozen.
A photo booth was also available for still photos of dads and their daughters. To see those pictures, visit our Facebook page here.
The event was such a hit the BCBA has already scheduled the next dance, to be held on November 6, 2021.
