The Belle Community Betterment Association (BCBA) recently hosted its 4th Annual Father/Daughter Dance at the Belle-Bland Community Center on Saturday, December 2. The event aimed to celebrate the bond between fathers and daughters under the theme “Sweet Night.”
A total of 75 girls, including 11 high schoolers, attended the special evening. Brian Doss served as the deejay, curating the perfect playlist to help create special memories between fathers and daughters.
“I was deeply moved by a precious moment,” said Jessica Barbarick, BCBA member and co-chair of the event. “A little girl, returning for the fourth year, joyfully shared her delight and pondered how we, the organizers, could possibly make the next year even more magical.”

Beyond the dance floor, the BCBA provided snacks and a musical backdrop, creating an ambiance that catered to all ages. Drawings for prizes added an element of excitement, and a photo booth allowed fathers and daughters to capture cherished memories together.
“I take immense pride in all the endeavors we take part in throughout the year,” said BCBA President Mark McClane. “Our commitment to hosting community events reflects a shared vision—a vision of a thriving and connected town where collective efforts pave the way for a brighter future.”
